Chocolate Chip Zucchini Cake

A moist chocolate cake with two small grated zucchinis in the batter. This is a good summer cake, appropriate for picnics and cookouts, I suppose. The soundtrack is the addictive Dance with Mandolins from Prokofiev’s ballet Romeo and Juliet.
The chocolate chips – or mini chips – can be added at the end, with the zucchini. They are optional if you prefer a less intense chocolate element.

    frosting.. tank you it was delicious and the kids loved it!

    This was delicious!! I added 2 teaspoons of espresso powder to deepen the
    flavor of the chocolate and it was divine! Next time I’ll add some orange

    wouldn’t hurt either…

    Looks very good! I made mine today, but they came out a little alkaline.
    Didn’t have enough cocoa powder, I assume. Going to try it again though!!!
